Just a someone.

You say
“I love you”
I believe this,
I believe you.
But what about the times when
You sit next to her,
Resting your head
Over her lap,
You give her a bite
From your piece of cake,
You share same jokes
You shared with me,
Watch movies you said
You’d watch only with me,
Call her nicknames
You lovingly gave to me,
Do things secretly with her
That were our things.
You leave the room
With her,
Without turning back
To see I’m waiting.
Knowing soon I’ll leave
For ever perhaps.
And above that,
You don’t hesitate
To call her yours,
When you continuously say
I’m more than what she is.
I know it’s not true,
I’ll always be number two.
But petty on me
To believe what you say,
Or said or will say
Tomorrow and for the
rest of my life.
I am no one
Or perhaps just a little
SOMEONE OR SOMETHING.
I don’t know what this is
But you say
“I love you”
I believe this,
I believe you.

I hope not forever.
