Waking up to your
Lazy yawns,
Sometimes even the
Cutest crying face.
Dancing to the
Old nursery rhymes,
I never heard before,
That I remember by heart now.
Making funny faces
In the supermarket
Just to see you smile
After that long cry.
Feeling your hand,
All over my face
When you’re trying to sleep,
Just so you know I am there.
Sticking your face,
Over my chest
When you pull me closer
To sleep well.
Looking at your
Desperate face,
When you’re irritated
And want me to play along.
Running around me
In infinite circles
To ask me to take you out
And seek where you hide.
Trying to understand
Your gibberish talks,
Replying back with
The same tone.
I’ve lived my childhood
And motherhood all together
With you being,
The perfect life partner.
